Abstract
LC-MS/MS is a powerful quantitative and qualitative tool that has many advantages over other analytical techniques in terms of sensitivity, specificity, and versatility. This approach has been broadly applied in variety of diverse matrices and applications, from pesticide analysis to protein characterization. The wide acceptance of LC-MS/MS is partly due to it ability to analyze both polar and semi-polar compounds at a wide range of masses. The Nominal Mass 101 session is designed for anyone who is new to LC-MS/MS techniques or wants to improve their understanding of the basic theory. Additionally, attending this course will provide insight into important method parameters and how they can be optimized.

Learning Objectives
  • Describe both the LC and MS/MS components that together make up an LC-MS/MS system.
  • Discuss the fundamentals of MS/MS technology focusing on triple quadrupole based systems.
  • Evaluate the advantages LC-MS/MS could provide.

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
