The Molecular Twin Platform: A multi-omic approach for predicting accurate clinical outcomes

Abstract

The Molecular Twin is a proof-of-principle platform that combines data from several clinical and molecular analytes from both tumor and host and applies AI and machine learning approaches to identify specific multi-omic biomarker panels which are highly predictive of disease survival outcome. When used in surgically resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), the platform established a model which best predicted survival in patients as well as generated multiple models with significantly better predictive performance than the current PDAC marker of CA 19-9. This event will also cover how these models can both be implemented in resource-poor areas and similarly generated for additional types of cancer.
