We are looking for highly motivated sales executives with sales and online advertising or digital media experience within the scientific industry (preferably).

The Sales Account Executive will identify new business, negotiate contracts, and onboard new companies. You will have the opportunity to independently negotiate with high-level players in the industry - and will learn and grow in a unique, innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

Labroots is looking to hire a talented and driven Sales Account Executive. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of hitting and/or exceeding sales targets and is quick to take initiative, solutions-oriented, and excellent at communicating.

Manage all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and closing.
Responsible for meeting monthly revenue goals through generating new business, through research, cold calling into an assigned global territory of science companies, as well as retaining existing business and upgrading packages.
Provide demos, presentations and training to clients via GoToMeeting or in-person sales calls.
Attend trade shows to identify business opportunities, develop leads and meet with decision makers to obtain customer commitment and facilitate delivery of sponsorship value.
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
Focused sales efforts, a strong understanding of LabRoots products andbusiness model, and a larger awareness of the overall trends in the online advertising environment.
Think creatively and implement unique solutions for clients marketing initiatives.
Actively work in a close team environment with other sales executives, while also keeping close relationships with marketing, production and operations.
Coordinate with marketing regarding client feedback and industry trends.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications & skills ...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (or extensive industry sales experience)
3-5 years’ experience in business, sales or marketing
Knowledge of the life sciences, clinical diagnostics and/or medical industry
Understand the calendar fiscal year, budgeting and advertise planning cycles
Strong written and verbal skills, along with strong relationship building a must
Experience with Sales Force and/or other CRM database application strongly preferred
Ability to manage pipeline and forecasting sales
Passion for business development and sales
Strong negotiation skills - required
Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with serious work ethic
Proven track record in developing and maintaining profitable business relationships
Ability to translate business opportunities into revenue
Capable of meeting and exceeding individual revenue targets on a consistent basis
Dedicated, hardworking; hungry for professional success
Fast learner and team player
