Scholarships

Labroots offers multiple scholarships annually to provide STEM students advance their academic and research goals.

With a dedication to fostering the pursuits of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degrees, Labroots provides a variety of scholarship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. These merit-based scholarships are open to high school seniors, 17 years or older; as well as students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs, seeking a degree in any of the STEM fields.

  • How can I apply for a scholarship?

    Information about upcoming Labroots scholarships, access to applications, and due dates are outlined at https://www.labroots.com/scholarships.

  • How do I know if I won?
    Once the application period has closed, Labroots staff will review all applicants. The chosen winner will receive an email by the announcement date listed, and the winner will be announced on the scholarship webpage, as well as on the Labroots blog.
  • When will my scholarship be awarded?

    If you are the winner of a Labroots scholarship, you will receive an email by the announcement date listed on the scholarship webpage. Navigate to your Labroots profile by hovering over your profile picture and clicking “Profile”. Next, click the hamburger menu icon to the right of “About” and click “Scholarships” for the status of your application, to edit your application, or for information pertaining to the scholarship that you’ve applied for.

    Once the award date has been reached and you have been identified as the winner, please allow 3-6 weeks for the award to be processed. The award will be paid directly to you.

  • Where can I find scholarships that I've applied for?

    Navigate to your Labroots profile by hovering over your profile picture and clicking “Profile”. Next, click the hamburger menu icon to the right of “About” and click “Scholarships” for the status of your application, to edit your application, or for information pertaining to the scholarship that you’ve applied for.

    Navigate to your Labroots profile by hovering over your profile picture and clicking “Profile”. Next, click the hamburger menu icon to the right of “About” and click “Scholarships” for the status of your application, to edit your application, or for information pertaining to the scholarship that you’ve applied for.
  • Can I win multiple scholarships from Labroots?
    Students are encouraged to apply for any Labroots scholarships that are relevant to their academic or research needs, however, an individual can only be awarded one scholarship per calendar year.
