Forensics & Toxicology 2019

Our inaugural Forensics & Toxicology virtual event is now available On-Demand! The exciting field of forensics and toxicology is focused on a blend of biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and medicine, that involves the study of the adverse effects of chemical substances on living organisms. Pushing the boundaries of our understanding is vital when combatting overdoses, poisonings and non-companion drug prescriptions.

This year's event covered the following tracks:

  • Forensic Science: A Multidisciplinary Approach

    • Human Health Impacts in Environmental Chemicals

  • Current Methods of Forensic Analysis

  • Recent Advances in Clinical Forensic Medicine

  • Recent Advances in Forensic Toxicology and Pharmacology

Our virtual conference allows you to participate in a global setting with no travel or cost to you. The event will remain open 6 months from the date of the live event.  The webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing.

Don't miss out!  Our event is equipped with gamification and point system, you can move around the entire event, earning points for a chance to win one of LabRoots most popular shirts. The gamification will remain open until August 29th. Log in to earn points now!

Posters

CALL FOR POSTERS
The deadline for electronic submission of your poster title, abstract and poster PDF is TBD.

POSTER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Virtual poster sessions offer the opportunity to present data to a global audience via a PDF poster and video summary, and discuss results with interested colleagues through email. Posters should be submitted as a PowerPoint file. Presentations should incorporate illustrative materials such as tables, graphs, photographs, and large-print text. This content is not peer-reviewed. Submission is free.

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
If you are interested in sponsoring a Poster for this virtual event and generate leads, the cost is $250 and you can submit the poster at advertise@labroots.com.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed and decisions regarding acceptance will be made as abstracts are received. You will be notified within one week of receipt about acceptance. Further details and registration materials will be provided at that time. You do not have to be present in order to have a poster displayed. Only those abstracts approved by Labroots may display posters at this event.

If accepted, you will also have the opportunity to record a 3-5 minute summary video for each poster. Labroots will work with each individual to create these videos. Video links and email contact information will be included on each poster displayed.

POSTER COMPETITION
Give your research a competitive edge - featuring the Labroots' Virtual Poster Competition!

The winning author(s) and their research will be featured in a Labroots Trending Science News article written by a specialist in the field. This article will be distributed to over 30,000 Labroots Newsletter subscribers, and will be highlighted on our social media pages to provide increased global reach.

Posters will be assessed and voted on by an anonymous board of Labroots conference organizers in the following categories: originality, innovation, impact, and organization.

The winner of the Labroots Poster Competition will be announced after the virtual poster symposium. The winner(s) will then have the option to be interviewed by a science writer and provide quotes describing the importance of their work.

Each poster submitted will be automatically considered for the competition unless the authors opt-out.

Sponsored posters are not eligible for inclusion in the Poster Competition.
