Traditionally Valentine's day is celebrated annually on February 14. It's a celebration of love where people show their affection by sending cards, flowers, or chocolates with messages of love. The human heart is considered the center of all of our emotions and associated the most with love. It is no coincidence that February was proclaimed in 1963 as the American hearth month to raise awareness of heart disease, one of the leading causes of deaths in the US.
