Sometimes in those rough moments when life just hits you with some growing pains, it's good to remember that we as people are always evolving. But, of course, it's also important to remember how people as a species are also evolving. So, let's fast-forward 1,000 years into the future. What will the human race be like?
Well, first of all, taller. That's just the continuation of a trend that's already happening. The average male back in the 1800s was 5'7'' while today the average male is 5'10''. But height isn't the only, and definitely not the most exciting way that humans will keep changing over the years. Some people will develop a genetic defense that prevents the HIV virus from turning into AIDS. That will likely happen naturally (some people already have those genes!), but with CRISPR technology, we will be able to make ourselves genetically immune to all sorts of other diseases as well. We may be even able to reverse the effects of aging!
