AGBT 2023 Recorded Spotlight Talk: NextSeq 1000 and 2000 Product updates and key applications

 

As a part of AGBT 2023, Illumina delivered a Spotlight Talk on our NextSeq™ 1000 and 2000 systems product updates and key applications. Within this talk, we take a deep dive into the new 100 and 600 cycle kits for P1 and P2 flow cell configurations. We review key applications enabled by these kits, including immune repertoire profiling, sWGS, 16S metagenomics, shotgun metagenomics, and precision metagenomics, with a side-by-side data comparison to the MiSeq v2 and v3 kits results per application. Plus, we show the roadmap for and expanding NextSeq™ 1000 and 2000 capabilities with the newest innovation in sequencing technology, XLEAP™-SBS Chemistry.
