Abstract
Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are an important T cell subpopulation that maintains immunological homeostasis. Today, Treg-based therapy shows an enormous potential for treatment of autoimmune and autoinflammatory disorders, acute and chronic infection, allergy, metabolic inflammation, transplantation, and cancer.
