Current assessment tools for traumatic brain injury (TBI) have several limitations, lack of standard definitions and consistency in clinical management guidelines is a challenge in the evaluation and management of mild traumatic brain injury. Dr. Peter Biberthaler will discuss in this webinar the diagnostic dilemma of mTBI in the Emergency Department and elaborate on why clinicians are seeking desperately for a quantitative new evaluation tool.
It will review the current standard of care pathway, outline new evaluation tools, discuss recently published research, and provide perspective for the future.
