    Biography

Susanne is the global product manager for B cell research at Miltenyi Biotec since 2018. From 2014 – 2018 she was PhD student at the RWTH Aachen University. Her project was the generation of Plasmodium falciparum-specific human antibodies from Epstein-Barr virus-transformed B lymphocytes from semi-immune donors at the Fraunhofer IME, Aachen. Before that she did her master studies in Biotechnology at the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences. Her master project at the University of Cape Town, South Africa was the optimization of reporter plasmids for HPV-pseudovirion production in Nicotiana benthamiana plants.

    Abstract

    Date:  November 19, 2020

    Time: 8:00am PST,  11:00am EST

Monoclonal antibody-based drugs have shown great potential as a treatment for several cancers. At Miltenyi Biotec, we offer a complete workflow for your antibody discovery research. From sample preparation, separation and sorting of different immune cell subsets (NK, B, T cells and Monocytes), characterization by flow cytometry to standardized B cell culture protocol. We have tools, products and workflows to assist your research and help you find your lead candidate. In addition, we offer many solutions for efficient testing of your lead candidates in functional assays.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Discuss solutions for antibody discovery research
    • Discuss antibody functionality analysis
    • Discuss Functional assay highlights: ADCC and MLR

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
