Adeno-associated virus (AAV) are increasingly produced as they hold tremendous potential in gene therapy. At research level, small quantities are produced for proof of concept studies. However, scaled-up production of consistent quality is often challenged by slow quality control characterization. Conventional methods such as ELISA and ddPCR take days to performed in centralized labs. Shorter turnaround time is desired to ensure the quality of product at various stage of production.
Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) can be a faster and simpler alternative to ELISA. Affinité lensless SPR technology unlocks the potential of label-free and real-time analysis at the bench. In this webinar, Dr. Paquet will discuss these challenges and how the lack fo characterization can be addressed and complemented with the Affinité SPR platform. The focus of this webinar is to highlight the potential of using P4SPR, a portable 4-channel SPR system for analysis of AAV in bioprocess development and production at your bench. Futhermore, Affinité flow-based SPR analysis platform enabling full kinetic analysis and automated sample delivery will be presented.
