In early drug development, lead clone selection requires a large number of clone screening in cell line development. Developability assessment studies also screens many molecules to identify process development issues. Therefore, high-throughput sample analysis is critical for biotherapeutics drug development where high sample input and short timeline is greatly desired with a growing number and wider variety of new drug candidates. Capillary electrophoresis (CE) has demonstrated its relevance in biotherapeutics analysis due to its high separation efficiency and multiple separation mode to assess different characterization attributes such as, purity, stability and charge variants.
