Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is curative for hematological diseases; however, is also associated with complications such as acute graft-vs-host disease (aGVHD). In this study we describe the use of multiplex antibody-based proximity extension assay (PEA) proteomic platform to identify novel biomarkers of aGVHD in a cohort of patients who received allogeneic HCT for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
