This webinar is designed to educate on the kinetics of procalcitonin which is a marker of sepsis and bacterial infection.  We will discuss the use specifically in patients presenting to the emergency room. The webinar will clarify the positive predictive value in the Emergency Department as well as the negative predictive value in the undifferentiated patient.
