Abstract
DNA replication happens at the very early stage of cell development, at such early stages of development it is important to measure replication kinetics that may be induced by external factors, drug treatments or error by the replication machinery.  The field of studying replication kinetics has become known as DNA Damage and Repair.  In this field it is paramount to understand the Spatio-temporal characterization and quantification of DNA replication events in order to better understand replication kinetics for cancer research and verify the efficacy of a drug and for drug development applications. Our webinar will introduce how Molecular Combing with Replication Combing Assay as a powerful and unique tool that combines the visual (spatio-temporal) with the precise measurement of DNA replication forks kinetics, symmetry, spacing and the quantification of those events at a single DNA molecule resolution across the entire genome.

Learning Objectives
  • Understand what molecular combing technology is and how it can detect and characterize DNA replication events such as replication fork speed, symmetry; measure and quantify interorigin and inter termination distances and the number of replication origins at a single DNA molecule resolution across the whole genome.
  • Design experiments for studying DNA Replication and how the Genomic Vision Replication Combing Assay can be used to study the effect of compounds in specific biomarkers to better discriminate the efficacy on a specific pathway to test drug targets and efficiency.
  • Learn how the FiberVision® and Replication Combing Assay workflow can provide a complete solution from sample preparation to data analysis to understand how Molecular Combing technology with our proprietary Replication Combing Assay enables with the precise measurement of DNA replication forks kinetics, symmetry, spacing and the quantification of those events at a single DNA molecule resolution across the entire genome
