Abstract

From WHO 2017 Hepatitis report, an estimated 290 million (89%) of the 325 million people living with viral hepatitis B and C are unaware that they are infected. As such, "Find the Missing Millions" Campaign was launched on Hepatitis Day 2019 to raise awareness and take action to influence real change.

How are countries adapting to reach the goal of Hepatitis elimination by 2030? Let us hear from what Taiwan have to offer from their Micro-Elimination strategies in stepping up their efforts to overcome the barriers to Viral Hepatitis Testing.

Learning Objectives:

  • To be able to identify the different treatment options for HCV with genotypic and pan-genotypic drug regimens
  • To recognize the challenge and barriers to HCV Elimination from awareness to linkage of care.
  • To summarize how increasing the accessibility to HCV diagnostics is critical in achieving Global HCV Elimination
