Event Date & Time
Date:  March 30, 2022
Time: 8:00am (PDT),  11:00am (EDT), 5:00pm (CEDT)
Abstract
Attend our webinar and discover the benefits of making the switch from serum-free and xeno-free based media to chemically defined (CD) conditions.

In this webinar Dr. Shahram Shahabi, will discuss how to avoid the inconsistencies associated with standard cell culture media including; animal serum; ill-defined factors; undefined nature; batch-to-batch variability in composition; and the risk of contamination. You will also gain a clearer understanding of serum-free media versus serum-based media and xeno-free media, and how to work with chemically defined (CD) media, a growth medium in which all of the chemical components are known that is suitable for the in vitro cell culture of human or animal cells.

This webinar will provide insights and help you:
  • Uncover the potential and benefits of chemically defined (CD) serum-free cell culture media
  • Discuss the scientific concerns about cell culturing with serum
  • Discover how to make the switch from serum-based media to chemically defined media

Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
