Abstract

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small RNAs with an average size of 22 nucleotides that regulate gene expression through various mechanisms. During the last decade, researchers have identified over 2600 mature microRNAs in humans. Today, researchers are focusing on identifying key miRNAs that can serve as biomarkers for early detection of diseases, stratification of disease states and selection of potential therapies.

This webinar will focus on miRNA profiling from biofluids, such as serum and plasma, while looking at solutions across fresh and FFPE samples. Our webinar will highlight best practices in miRNA isolation, NGS library construction, data analysis and downstream biological verification.
